The communication center is operational 24 hours a day throughout the year. Calls about security, fire, safety or health are received via one of the 16 campus emergency phones, administration lines, or the TDD phone (Telephone Device for the deaf). The communication center acts as a referral source for a variety of campus issues, from escorts, door unlocks, lost and found, maintenance problems, and information for times and locations for special events.

We have a radio system which puts our police cars and communication desk in direct contact with Butler County Control 9-1-1, Slippery Rock Borough Police, all county local police agencies, and our Pennsylvania State Police Troop D, Butler, PA.
