Do I Need to
Maintain a Specific QPA to Receive Financial Aid?
Yes; if you receive federal
financial aid (including the Federal Stafford Loan), you must meet
academic progress requirements annually. In summary, full-time
undergraduates must complete at least 24 new credits
each year (fall/spring) and must earn at least a 2.0 cumulative QPA
by the end of their second year of study. The complete academic
progress policy for financial aid can be found on the financial aid
web page http://www.sru.edu/finaid; then,
simply click on "Rights and Responsibilities". Please note that if
you receive state grants or institutional scholarships, you will
also be required to meet the requirements as set forth by those
programs.
