Campers are literally flying through the air at Slippery Rock University this week (and next) as part of pole vaulting camp. The special program draws high school students from across the country – in total more than 400 will attend the four, week-long camps.

The camp offers great feature photo/feature story possibilities – 9 to 11 a.m., and 1:30 to 3:30 are best for photos.

The camp is part of SRU’s Camps and Conferences program.

P.S. – TheMark Bruener Football Camp, led by the popular Pittsburgh Steeler, opens Saturday (June 21) and runs through June 25. (Best photos are after the campers have been on campus for a day or two and are oriented to the program.)
