When Would I Need to Use My Health Insurance?

When your care requires lab testing, pap smear, x-ray, or other diagnostic testing, your personal health insurance information will be submitted to the test provider and they will bill your insurance for payment.  If your care requires services from an outside specialist (orthopedic, gynecology, dermatology, etc), that healthcare provider will bill your insurance for payment.  Situations that arise needing Emergency Room services would also be submitted to your insurance.

You are responsible for any co-payment required by your insurance provider.

If you need to have a prescription filled at a local pharmacy, you will need your Prescription/Rx card or information available.
