As an individualized instruction, the Teaching of Secondary English course introduces some interesting experiences and activities that will enhance my professional knowledge and prepare me for the student teaching experience.  Designing a webpage highlighting my professional experiences that can be available for viewing by potential employers is one activity that I look forward to.  Such a webpage is an invaluable resource because it shows that I have the skills to use modern technology in my instructional methods.

The conference opportunities this semester are an interest of mine as well.  Last spring I was able to attend two English related conferences and felt that these experiences expanded my knowledge of the English related profession.  I am looking forward to investigating the teaching profession in the same manner.  As a result of my conferences experiences last year, I certainly understand how important it is to stay current with the professional field.
