Millersville University & SSHE-CETP-PA Conference

August 15-17 2002

Guess who attended the Millersville Conference?

Answer:  Pictures from the Conference

The 2002 CETP-PA Annual Conference will be held August 15-17, 2002, at Millersville University. This is your opportunity to share your experiences in constructivist learning or any other aspect of the project with other participants of CETP-PA. Proposals will be accepted from school, college, and university faculty members and students. Priority will be given to collaborative proposals submitted jointly by members of more than one academic unit, e.g., members of two schools, a school and a university, a university education department and a university mathematics department, a college and a school, etc. We invite you to submit a proposal for presentation addressing the listed areas: Math, Science, Education (Pedagogy), Technology, Supervision, Recruitment, and Safety. Your proposal may be for a WORKSHOP, a POSTER, or PRESENTATION (Lecture). Sessions are defined as follows:

  1. Workshops- Workshops or hands-on demonstrations (constructivist), of one-hour are designed to provide instruction with a HIGH degree of participant involvement. These workshops take an in-depth look at CETP-PA issues.
  2. Posters- Poster sessions combine the graphic display of materials with the opportunity for individualized informal discussion of the research throughout the thirty minute session. Presenter must set up the display prior to the start of the session and remove by August 16. Proposer(s) must be willing to construct a poster exhibit of high quality that can stand alone in conveying information. Handouts are suggested.
  3. Presentation (Lecture)- sixty minute sessions in which individuals present on a topic relevant to the field. Participant interaction is strongly recommended.
