Eligibility and Selection
Any student in a leadership position is eligible to apply to be a participant in the tour (for example, an officer in a student organization.)
Approximately 15 students will be selected to participate in the tour. Consideration will be given to students who are involved in formal leadership programs or activities. Applications must be completed and returned to the Vice President for Student Life Office (302 Old Main) no later than Friday, November 30, 2007.
Interviews, if necessary, will be utilized for final selection of participants.
Cost
The total cost of the tour, per participant, is $1,300 including airfare, all overnight accommodations, transportation to and from airport, rail transportation, tours, international university visit, and breakfast each morning. Costs not covered are daily lunches and dinners, souvenirs and activities elected by students during free time.

Deposit
A deposit in the amount of $300 is due no later than Friday, November 30, 2007 with the application. The deposit will be refunded if the student is not selected to participate. If selected to participate, the deposit is non-refundable. Deposit check should be made payable to “Slippery Rock Foundation, Inc”.
The non-refundable balance of $1,000 will be due no later than Wednesday, January 16, 2008, along with a copy of the student’s home country passport, to the Vice President for Student Life Office (302 Old Main).
