STUDENT
EARNS TOP HONORS, SCHOLARSHIP IN SRU
‘CHEM GAMES’
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Nearly 100 high school
chemistry students from the western Pennsylvania region visited the
Slippery Rock University campus recently to participate in the
annual “Chem Games,” with Josh Geiger of Maplewood High
School presented the top honor -- a $2,000 chemistry scholarship at
SRU.
The
competition included a chemical experiment and a written exam, with
Geiger earning the top score.

The
games were organized by Russ Carley, SRU instructor of chemistry
