I.       Basic Skills Courses: (0-15 hours) Exemption is possible from these courses according to performance on the placement test.  CLEP, AP and OPI credits are accepted for some of the following courses.

One of the following literature courses:

6 hours of French at 300 level

3 hours of French at 300 level

 

 

III.             Electives: (0-9 hours) to complete 30 credits for the major. Any 300- or 400-level French course may be chosen as an elective including the conversation or civilization courses not chosen in II.

V.                Study Abroad Program: (highly recommended). Students should plan to spend a summer or semester in a country where French is spoken. Credits earned may be used to fill the above requirements.
