Bette Joseph gave an update on
Professional Development Day (February 17th) and encouraged anyone
interested to give a presentation.
Jenny Tomal introduced the new
TLTR Graduate Assistant, Juliane Werner.

Technology: Dean Lindey
- New Server. Faculty members need
to move all their files and information from the old drive to the
new Z: drive.
- Everyone needs to check the
content of his or her websites and update if needed. (Questions -
contact Sherry Mellott)
- Spam filters are in and working.
They are doing the best that they can.
- Updates (confirmations) on Task
Forces
- Jenny Tomal passed around a TLTR
Taskforce Sign-up sheet. TLTR has six taskforces: Information
Technology, Technology Grants, Blackboard User Groups, Capstone
Portfolio, Plagiarism, and Planning. All taskforces need to turn in
an Activities Report by Feb. 20th.

- Three new projects
underway:
- Online Information Resource
Center - Information literacy is the focus of this
project.
- Digital Video Project - About 40%
of faculty is using Blackboard. This project creates hardware and
software training for faculty.
- Internship - Similar to the TLTR
PTA program, this project is to create an internship for a student
to be able to help faculty incorporate technology into their
teachings and also aid students in the use of
technology.
- TLTR Personal Technology
Assistant (PTA) - Chrissy Le Simmers introduced herself. She was a
student worker at the Help Desk for two years. She can still be
located at the Help Desk in the Library. Feel free to contact her
with any of your technology problems.

Grants
- Participants in the Blackboard
Mentoring Grants demonstrated the course materials they had
developed for Blackboard projects. The following faculty showed
what they had accomplished as a result of participating in the
