Guidelines 

• Go to MyHousing portal.  Type in your username (its your SRUID ex. abc1234), and the password is the same when you check your email via RockMAIL or logging into SRU network. As a new student, your password is  your 6-digit birthdate (ex. 010480).
• You are now logged in to MyHousing portal -
  
• Under the Navigation bar on the left side, click Housing Application Process.
• Choose the Fall 2008 Agreement from the drop down box, click Next.  You will now see the Housing Agreement. Please be advised, the Residence Hall Agreement is for both the fall and spring semesters of 2008-09 and is a binding agreement with your parent(s) or legal guardian(s), if you are younger than 18 years of age.  PLEASE READ THIS PAGE VERY CAREFULLY. After reviewing it, please check the 2 boxes under I Agree.
• Click Next
• You have completed Step 1.  Your housing agreement has now been transmitted electronically. You will receive a copy via email with an attachment for your records.
   

• You are almost finished.  Please complete the next five (5) steps to complete the process.  Read each option before responding.
  
• Pay Deposit (Step 2)
  You may pay your deposit by check/money order or credit card.  If paying by credit card, please complete this page to transmit your payment. If paying by check, please click on the section to print a payment letter.  Mail your payment and letter to the Office of Residence Life, 105 Watson Hall, Slippery Rock University, 1 Morrow Way, Slippery Rock, PA 16057 .
• Housing Data Sheet (Step 3)
  Please answer each question to the best of your ability. This will assist in the roommate matching process.  If you have any special needs or accommodations, please enter the information in the comments section.  Be very specific.
• RCRI Application (Step 4, Optional)
  If you would like to be considered for an RCRI community, please complete the application. An RCRI application may be completed any time after the housing agreement has been submitted.
• Room Preferences (Step 5)
  Please decide which type of living unit you would prefer.  Be sure to select all styles of interest.  Feel free to view an image for more details.
• Roommate/Suitemate Request (Step 6)
  Roommate/suitemate requests must be mutual, and will take preference over all other personal preferences.  Your requested roommate/suitemate must also list you on their request.
  
  If you have a roommate request, please enter the student's name in the textbox.  Make sure the spelling is correct - this student will be placed in the same room/suite as you are if you are assigned to a 2-person room/suite.  Be sure to ask this person to select you as a room/suite mate as well.
  
  If you are in a 4-person suite, it is possible to request your suitemates, you will not share a room with them, but you will share a suite.
