in the Alumni Admission Assistant Program (A.A.A.P.)

The Alumni Admission Assistant Program has been designed to provide alums the opportunity to complement the recruitment efforts of the Admissions Office at Slippery Rock University. The primary focus of this program is to enhance areas especially in the eastern part of Pennsylvania as well as other select surrounding states. Interested Alumni may choose from a variety of levels of involvement, depending on their comfort level and time availability; ideally, however, we'd ask that the volunteer attends two college fairs a season.  

AAAP members will be trained and prepared before embarking on any recruitment activities. Blackboard will be the primary communication tool used.  Before looking at Blackboard, please know, you'd have to be activitated (by the coordinator of AAAP) to gain access.  Only the AAAP members will have access to this particular site.

Activities available to AAAP members include: corresponding with prospective students either through telephoning or e-mailing, representing SRU at a college fair, adopting a guidance counselor and/or attending receptions/campus visitation programs. For more information, click here.
