FURTHER DOWN TO HOST BENEFIT CONCERT MARCH 31 AT SRU 

           SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Pittsburgh rock group Further Down will perform a concert March 31 at Slippery Rock University with proceeds benefiting  Kaleidoscope, the university’s arts festival April 19-28. The group does covers by Bon Jovi, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots and other groups.

           Band member Chris Pazul attends Slippery Rock University and recruited the group to perform. He has arranged for 105.9 FM to broadcast the concert.

           Tickets are $5 at the door. The concert is scheduled for 8 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Room at the University Union.

            Kaleidoscope, sponsored by SRU’ College of Humanities, Fine and Performing Arts, includes events for adults and children, such as concerts, guest speakers, comedy and outdoor sculpture exhibits.
