SRU Faculty Panel to Offer Analysis of 9-11 Ramifications
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. –As a way of keeping Slippery Rock University students abreast of current events and as a way of providing in-depth analysis and provoking critical thinking, its College of Humanities, Fine and Performing Arts will sponsor a 3:30 p.m. Sept. 9 panel discussion examining the impact of the 9-11 attacks on contemporary American politics, foreign policy and domestic policy.

SRU Students Plan Voter Registration Rally for Thursday
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – A “Student Voter Registration Drive Kick-Off Rally” will be held at Slippery Rock University from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday [Sept. 2] in an effort to promote the national “Your Vote, Your Voice” campaign from the National Campus Voter Registration Project.

32-Foot Tower Added to SRU Leadership Course
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Executive Leadership Course at Slippery Rock University includes a new component – a 32-foot tower for climbing, rappelling and rope bridge exercises. Students, community groups, teachers and business professionals use it for leadership training, team building and problem solving.
