Two upcoming events of interest on the Slippery
Rock University campus:
President to Open Academic
Year;
SRU
President Robert Smith will officially open the 2004-05 academic
year with the traditional “Academic Assembly” for
faculty and administrators at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday [Sept. 7] in Swope
Music Hall. The address will include a report on university
accomplishments during the past year as well as challenges and
opportunities facing the university for the current year. The
session will also welcome new faculty to campus.
Trustees to Meet Sept.
10
The SRU
Council of Trustees will hold their regular, quarterly meeting at
1:30 p.m. Sept. 10 in the third-floor Conference Room of Old
Main.
