TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS HAVE FORCED THE CANCELATION OF THIS EVENT!

TRADITIONAL CHINESE FOLK MUSICIANS TO PERFORM AT SRU OCT. 14: PUBLIC INVITED TO FREE CONCERT 

           SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Slippery Rock University will host an evening of traditional Chinese folk music performed by visiting musicians from Nanjing Arts Institute in China at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 14 in Swope Music Hall. Admission is free.

 The program includes ensemble and solo performances of Chinese folk and classical music on traditional Chinese instruments.  

           The SRU Asian studies minor and the International Arts and Cultures Series jointly sponsor this program, in conjunction with the College of Humanities, Fine and Performing Arts and the International Initiatives Office.
