COURSE REGISTRATION INFORMATION
In your first semester you should take the appropriate introduction course: Introduction to: School Counseling (CDev 613); Student Personnel (CDev 602); or Community Counseling (CDev 615).
It is important to note that the Introduction courses are only offered during the fall semester – it is important that you register for this class in your first semester.
If you are entering the College Student Personnel program you must also take CDev 610 Life-span Development in the fall semester as it is a perquisite for a course you will take in the spring.
We recommend that our students not take more than 9 credits in their first semester. You may select additional course work from the remaining CORE I courses:
CDev 610 Life-span Development
CDev 614 Techniques of Counseling
CDev 621 Social and Cultural Diversity
CDev 670 Counseling Theory
More information regarding registering for courses will be provided at a later time.
