 Presidential Search Update 02-10-12

Feb. 10, 2012

To the University community:

With today’s presidential candidate visit, we will have now seen four of the six candidates. Our two remaining candidates will visit campus next week.

The screening committee would like to thank those members of the University and community who have taken the time to visit with and interview our candidates. We hope you will continue to do so next week.

A very important part of the search process is receiving feedback from each of you regarding the candidates. Choosing the right people to recommend to the Chancellor and Board of Governors for consideration as the next president of Slippery Rock University is an important decision and your input is valued.

Please fill out and submit the feedback forms distributed at each of the interview sessions in a sealed envelope to Tina Moser, 300 Old Main, or you may fill out an electronic survey for each candidate. Surveys are confidential and will be tabulated by our search firm, Storbeck/Pimentel.

Electronic versions for the first four candidates can be found at:

Dr. Cheryl Norton

Dr. Jack Maynard

Dr. Joe Bertolino

Dr. Nicholas Neupauer

Please submit your evaluations no later than close of business Feb. 20.

Thank you again for your participation in this very important process.

Eric Holmes
Chair,Presidential Search Committee
