UPDATE
Starting this year SYTEC has taken a different approach to collecting course data in Blackboard, thus refining SRU’s approach on how Blackboard is being used by SRU faculty members.  Specifically the definition of an “active course” has narrowed to include only course sections that were made available to the students and contained at least one document, test, or survey.  Below is the total “active course sections” by Fall semester starting with 2006.  The totals will be less but more accurate.
Fall 09: 811 sections
Fall 08: 693 sections
Fall 07: 618 sections
Fall 06: 550 sections
Fall 2009

UPDATE
Fall 10: 1050 sections (Active)
