SPOTLIGHT

ACTION 
The Center for Student Leadership will computerize student organization registration and co-curricular experience transcript processes to increase student use of the program. (SL)

MEASURE 
Number of participants in the student organization and number of students using the co-curricular transcript program.

BASELINE   
Utilizing a paper submission process, 86 student organizations registered (October 1, 2004) with the Center for Leadership during the 2004-2005 academic year.  No computerized process exists.  As of October 31, 2004, 400 students registered for the Co-Curricular Experiences Transcript through a paper process.  No computer process exists.
 
UPDATE    
The Co-Curricular Experiences Transcript program was adapted for electronic access in October 2005.  Sixty-three students utilized the computerized Co-Curricular Transcript Program; 474 students registered via a paper process prior to implementation of the electronic system.

UPDATE 
For 2006-2007, 108 students registered via the co-curricular transcript website, an increase of 71% from 2005.

UPDATE  
88 students registered for the on-line co-curricular transcript program, a 12% reduction from spring 2007. The online Compass Link, a component to the co-curricular transcript program is set to launch in fall '08. 108 (78%) of the 139 recognized clubs and organizations are utilizing the Compass Link online registration/club management service. (Spring 2008)

UPDATE  
2801 students registered for the online co-curricular transcript program in spring 2009 compared to 88 students registered in spring 2008, a 3008% increase in student participation.  154 (100%) recognized clubs and organizations are utilizing the Compasslink online organizational management software program.  (2008-2009)

UPDATE  
4,001 students are registered for the online co-curricular transcript program, a 70% increase from last year.  156 (100%) recognized clubs and organizations are utilizing the Compasslink online organizational management software program. 
(2009-2010)

UPDATE 
The co-curricular transcript program shifted to the co-curricular experience program in Spring 2011 where 75 freshmen students participated and submitted experiences through CompassLink.

As of Summer 2011, 5322 students have logged into CompassLink, with 2330 students being active users of the site.  As of Summer 2011, 156 student organizations are registered through CompassLink maintaining an active website through CompassLink.  This is 100% of our recognized student organizations.  All users of CompassLink are automatically enrolled in the Co Curricular Experience Program.  (2010-2011)
