Robert S. Taylor, Esq., is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Cameron Companies, LLC, a diversified holding company specializing in business consulting, government affairs consulting, real estate investment and acquisition, legal affairs, and turnaround management.
A graduate of Temple University School of Law, Mr. Taylor is admitted to the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court of Eastern Pennsylvania, and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He has been a White House appointee to the Environmental Protection Agency, a trustee in bankruptcy in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and a staff attorney to the Pennsylvania Worker's Compensation Appeal Board.
Mr. Taylor's association with the consulting firm founded by former U.S. Secretary of Transportation, Drew Lewis, has resulted in considerable exposure to the legislative, regulatory, and executive branches of state and federal government and private business management. His clients have included amount others, Fortune 500 companies, large banks, engineering firms, marine terminal operators, software companies, waste haulers, pharmaceutical firms, health-related organizations, and various non-profit organizations.
Mr. Taylor has been active in Pennsylvania government, business, and politics for 25 years. Raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, he coordinated the 1980 George Bush for President campaign in Pennsylvania, and was Director of the Reagan-Bush 1984 re-election campaign in the Commonwealth. He has also managed several lower profile congressional and state campaigns. Mr. Taylor served as Treasurer of the Pennsylvania Republican Party from 1986 to 1992, and served as a member of the Governor's Transition Team in 1994. He has served as a fundraiser for numerous federal, state, and local candidates.
Mr. Taylor served on the boards of several Pennsylvania companies and charitable organizations such as Employers' Acquisition, Inc., the Pennsylvania Partnership for Economic Education (Vice Chairman), Southern Homes Services (Treasurer), Buck County NAWC Economic Adjustment Committee (Chairman), the Bucks County Housing Development Corporation, the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, Slippery Rock University Council of Trustees, Slippery Rock Foundation, Inc., the Regional Learning Alliance, Inc.
