Diana Jones is Assistant Professor of Nursing at Slippery Rock University. She earned her AA degree from Indiana University Northwest Campus, Gary, Indiana; BSN and nurse practitioner certificate from Purdue University, Hammond, Indiana. She also earned a Master of Science degree and clinical nurse specialist certificate from Purdue University. Dr. Jones holds an Ed.D from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois.
Her research interest focuses on issues related to cultural diversity and health. She has published articles in refereed journals on African American women's views of breast cancer, and mentoring.
Diana is the mother of one daughter, Deidre Marlease. Diana's leisure time is spent reading, walking, listening to music (jazz and gospel) and enjoying a good movie or play.
