Since its inception in 2003, the President's Commission for Racial and Ethnic Diversity has sponsored a variety of activities and events including a Native American Celebration, workshops on Professional Development Day and monthly informal lunches to discuss various diversity-related topics.

The Commission sponsored "Separate: Unequal: Unwanted: a discussion of how Native American experiences relate to "Brown v. Board of Education" and "Brown v. Board Education: 50 Years velocity at all deliberate speed: how will SRU accelerate the next 50?"

The Commission meets the first Thursday of every month at 12:30 pm, in the Cultural Center at the University Union.
