Objectives: A lecture and laboratory course that deals with the structure of vertebrate tissues. All tissue types and organ systems are covered in detail, as emphasis is placed upon identification of structures and other fundamental concepts of histology. Histology is alos shown as an active scientific field, with exposure to basic histological practices and how such skills are important in the morphological sciences. One section of this course is offered in the spring semester of odd years.
