» Individual Tickets to Rockapella Go on Sale Sept. 1 in SRU Performing Arts Series
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Individual tickets go on sale Sept. 1 for Rockapella’s Sept. 17 concert at Slippery Rock University’s Miller Auditorium. The five-man vocal group, featured on the “Tonight Show with the Jay Leno,” blends soul, rock, rhythm-and blues and jazz.

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Slippery Rock University’s dance department will offer tap, creative, hip-hop and jazz classes for children ages 3-12 Saturdays Sept. 13-Nov. 19 at the McKay Education Building Dance Studio.

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- The American Therapeutic Recreation Association has selected Slippery Rock University senior Heather Bright of New Castle as one of eight therapeutic recreation students in the nation to receive the ATRA’s Peg Connolly Scholarship. Connolly was its first president.

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. --- To further the positive relationship between Slippery Rock University and community residents, the Slippery Rock Town and Gown Association has reformed after a hiatus of several years and will host a meeting at 6 p.m. Aug. 17 at North Country Brewing in Slippery Rock.
