Freshman Scholarships
The freshman scholarship home page contains information about
offered scholarships and how to apply.
Prospective students can access the electronic scholarship
application through the above link. A printed scholarship brochure
can be requested through the Office of Admissions
(724-738-2015 or 1-800-SRU-9111). High-achieving students are
encouraged to apply for admission in early fall in order to be
considered for some academic scholarships that are awarded based
solely on the student's academic record.
Transfer
Scholarships
A limited number of transfer scholarships are offered at SRU for
students who apply for fall semester only. Students are considered
for these scholarships based upon credentials submitted with their
admission application.
Undergraduate and Graduate
Scholarships
Current SRU undergraduates can search on the link above for
scholarships under their major and "M" for miscellaneous.
Departments are listed alphabetically.
Graduate scholarships are found on the above link on the
Alphabetical Department list under "G."

Athletic Scholarships
Athletic scholarships are administered by the Intercollegiate
Athletic Department and awarded by the coaches of each particular
sport. Contact the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, 102
Morrow Field House or the specific coach(s) c/o Intercollegiate
Athletic Office.
ROTC Scholarships
ROTC offers online applications for Four Year Scholarships and
Green-to-Gold Scholarships (for active duty soldiers). For
more information please call: (724) 738-6172, or visit the
office at Room 101, Strain Behavioral Science Building.

Alumni Association
The Slippery Rock University Alumni Association (SRUAA) offers
several scholarships for current undergraduate, graduate, and
doctoral students. The above link lists available scholarships,
eligibility criteria, and general information concerning SRUAA
Scholarships.
