The Horace Mann PDS Field Celebration took place on December 12, 2005 at Horace Mann PDS in Pittsburgh, PA.  The teacher candidates who participated in this urban teaching experience found it to be very valuable and encourage other teacher candidates to be a part of a culturally diverse setting before going into the classroom.

The Pine-Richland PDS Field Celebration took place on December 13, 2005 at Wexford PDS in Wexford, PA.  The teacher candidates were pleased with the field experience and found it to be very beneficial.  Many of them are going to return to this PDS site for their student teaching experience.

The PDS Student Teacher Celebration occurred on December 13, 2005 at Atria's Restaurant in Wexford, PA.  The teacher candidates were very enthusiastic about completing their Action Research projects and sharing them with the group.  They all agreed that doing an Action Research project benefitted both their growth as teachers and positively impacted student learning.
