Through a variety of continuing education and certification programs, the Division of Lifelong Learning enhances the credentials of working professionals. We recognize that professional development programs are a key component for the success of the region and its citizens.

In addition, the Office of Workforce & Community Education offers a variety of Personal Enrichment programs, from Microsoft Word to Starting Your Small Business, at the Center for Lifelong and Community Learning in downtown Slippery Rock. These courses are a great way to do something fun "just for yourself" and reconnect with the excitement of learning.

Essentials of Hazardous Materials Management Overview

Course and CHMM Exam

Sponsor: Three Rivers Chapter of the ACHMM, Inc.

Location: Regional Learning Alliance at Cranberry Woods

EHMM Course Dates: November 18-20, 2009

Hours: 8 AM to 6 PM

CHMM Exam Date: November 21, 2009

Time: 8 AM to 12 PM

CHMM APPLICATION FILING: At least three weeks prior to the examination, all candidates must submit an application to the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM). The exam may be taken at the RLA on Saturday, November 21st or at another time and date at any one of the other IHMM approved computer based testing centers across the country. Candidates for the CHMM Examination must contact the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management Certification Board for application forms. www.IHMM.org
