Mentoring Dinner

An annual dinner for faculty, staff, administrators and the female students that they mentor.  Along with great food, there's a renowned female speaker to set the tone of the evening and inspire all who attend.  This event usually takes place early in the spring semester. 

New Female Employee Welcome Reception

Usually occurring at the president's residence, this event for new female employees gives a generous welcome to those in attendance.  Information and resources are given to expound upon and strengthen the female community at Slippery Rock University.

Young Women at the Rock 

Slippery Rock University invites young women ages 9 - 16 to participate in scheduled events that will familiarize them with the university, develop interpersonal skills, gain knowledge and participate in creative activities.  Most often, this event occurs at the end of the spring semester.
