Teaching
At Slippery Rock University, Dr. Wolf teaches in the undergraduate BSN program. Courses include Introduction to Healthcare Informatics, Advanced Healthcare Informatics, Leadership, Nursing in a Managed Care Environment
and Nursing Process within School Population.
As an Adjunct faculty member at Robert Morris University, Dr. Wolf teaches in the DnP program, course focuses on EBP and Information Systems. In addition, Dr. Wolf also serves as mentor, coach and practicum preceptor for nursing students within undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. Dr. Wolf guest lectures for various organizations and in undergraduate/graduate programs focusing on nursing leadership/administration, nursing informatics, nursing research and evidence based practice.
Service
Dr. Wolf serves as a task force leader for the National Nursing Staff Development Organization’s Professional Work Group, where they are currently reviewing and revising the Scope and Standards of Practice for Nursing Professional Development. In addition, she serves as a member University of Pittsburgh Institutional Review Board (IRB); Committee G. Dr. Wolf recently joined Team #6 -Workgroup 4 of the TIGER (Technology Informatics Guiding Education Reform) in an effort to further support the integration of technology into education and healthcare arenas.
