Diane Tomasic is Associate Professor at Slippery Rock University.  She earned her Nursing Diploma from Braddock General Hospital School of Nursing, BS from Point Park College, MSEd from Duquesne University,  and an MN from the University of Pittsburgh.  Dr. Tomasic holds an EdD from West Virginia University.

Dr. Tomasic is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, Omicrom Mu Chapter.  She is also a member of the American Nurses Association and the National League for Nursing. She has been on NLN Task Groups and was  member of the Nominating Committee.

In her free time, she likes to garden in the summer and becomes a couch potato in the winter.  She has a dog which means a daily walk rain, snow or shine.
