Biography
Dr. Larouere earned his BS in Exercise Science and MS in Exercise Physiology from Slippery Rock University and earned his Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining SRU, Dr. Larouere spent the previous 5 years at West Liberty State College as the Program Director for the Exercise Physiology Program. He is certified as a Health/Fitness Instructor through the American College of Sports Medicine and a CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor for the American Red Cross. Currently, Dr. Larouere is teaching PE 141, PE 342 and PE 360. His research interests include the long-term effects of severe joint injuries in adolescents and the role of exercise on visual parameters.
