Sponsored by Slippery Rock University, the $500 Act 101 Financial Award recognizes student achievement and persistence. Entering program students have a two-semester opportunity to earn one of 25 awards competitively based on QPA during their first two semesters in the program - a total amount of $1000! The top twenty-five students receiving this award will have it applied to their next year's tuition and will be recognized at the Act 101 Student Recognition Tea in April.
 

Guidelines for the $500 ACT 101 Financial Award
Sponsored by Slippery Rock University, the $500 Act 101 Financial Award recognizes student achievement and persistence. For award consideration,  entering Act 101 Program students need to utilize services; earn at least 12 credit hours with a minimum semester QPA of 2.70; have no repeat of courses and no grades of D,F; support of Act 101 Program Advisor; and demonstrated financial need verified by the Office of Financial Aid. Upon program notification and student acceptance, this award is applied to the next year's tuition.
