The Act 101 Advisory Board at Slippery Rock University provides advocacy for Act 101 Program students and program initiatives. A primary effort in 2004 is an assessment of Act 101 Program effectiveness as identified in the Act 101 grant proposal to the PA Department of Education.

Current Act 101 Advisory Board membership includes representation from the local community, Act 101 Program students, parents, the university's offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, Social Equity, and faculty.
