How to implement a project at the Macoskey Center

What is a project?

A project is defined as an activity that requires any of the following:

  • Physical alteration of the facility in some way (planting, mowing, digging, cutting, etc... excluding maintenance tasks)

  • Involvement of the RAMC staff for implementation (labor resources or expertise excluding tours and maintenance tasks)

  • The use of physical space (excluding individual scheduled class sessions) 

How do I complete a project?

All individuals who wish to implement a project at the Macoskey Center must follow these steps:

Step One:       Review the Macoskey Center mission and approach to sustainability

Step Two:       Complete a Proposed Project Introductory Questionnaire

Step Three:    Meet with the Center Director to review the Questionnaire

Step Four:      If necessary, schedule and attend a meeting with a Project Discussion Group

Step Five:       Submit a one-page project summary for review by the RAMC Director

Step Six:         Post project summary signage at approved project site

Step Seven:   Project Implementation

Step Eight:     Following project completion and site recovery, submit a Final Report
