The BSN Admission and Program Requirements
1. Current licensure as a registered nurse or be awaiting NCLEX exam results.
2. Minimum of 63 non-remedial college credits for admission.
3. Minimum QPA of 2.5.
The BSN degree requires 120 credits, including the following components:
I. VALIDATION OF LOWER DIVISION NURSING
a. Graduates of an Associate Degree program in nursing transfer in all credits.
b. Diploma graduates with a RN license are granted 30 credits for their nursing coursework.
In addition, all college credits are transferred in.
c. RNs with a baccalaureate degree in another discipline complete only 39 credits in the
nursing curriculum.
II. LIBERAL STUDIES
All students must complete a total of 48 liberal studies credits. Liberal studies courses include courses such as: math, science, English, literature, history, economics, foreign languages, psychology, sociology, art, music, theater, and human development. These courses can be transferred in, or completed during the RN to BSN program.
III. NURSING CURRICULUM REQUIREMENTS

33 credits of upper division nursing courses

6 credits of supportive coursework (Medical Health Care Ethics & Statistics)
