 CELEBRATE NEW YEAR’S EVE AT SLIPPERY ROCK UNIVERSITY

           SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Ring in the New Year with swimming, basketball, volleyball and more at Slippery Rock University’s “Rock and Recreate” party 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. New Year’s Eve. Events will be held at the Robert N. Aebersold Student Recreation Center. Cost is $3 per person, $5 for non-ARC members.

           Other activities include volleyball, kickball, badminton and a homerun derby, as well as games, snacks, prizes, music and various contests. There’s something for the whole family.

           An adult must accompany youth under 16. With parental approval, youth age 16 to 18 may attend unaccompanied. Reservations are limited to the first 200, with payment due by Dec. 29. Tickets may be purchased at the ARC office. They will not be available at the door.
