2001-02 HERI Faculty - Administrator Survey Results
During the 2001-02 academic year, members of the university
community participated in the Higher Education Research Institute
(HERI) at UCLA survey of teaching faculty and administrators. The
purpose of the survey was to learn about the attitudes, values,
pedagogy, and professional activities of faculty members and
administrators.
More than 225 members of the Slippery Rock University community
participated in the survey. Three sets of results or findings are
available for your review. The first, All SRU Respondents, presents the responses (in
percents) for each type of respondent and for each type of
respondent by gender. The second, SRU Faculty, presents the responses of the
entire group of faculty members who participated in the survey and,
also, by gender. The third, SRU Administrators, presents the responses of
the entire group of administrators who participated in the survey
and, also, by gender. In addition, data presented in the SRU
Faculty and SRU Administrators sets of findings give you the
opportunity to compare SRU response rates to those of participants
from public four-year colleges and to all of the participants in
the survey.
Please review the findings at your leisure and thank you for
participating in the survey.
