SRU SCHEDULES SATURDAY MORNING DANCE CLASSES FOR REGIONAL YOUNGSTERS

           SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Saturday mornings are meant for children to have fun and to support that idea, area youngsters are invited to participate in Slippery Rock University’s “Creative Dance, Tap and Jazz Classes.”

          The 11-week program opens Saturday [Jan. 25] in SRU’s McKay Dance Studio.

          Sessions for children ages 3 and 4 in “Creative Dance for Pre-kindergarten” will be offered from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. The fee is $50. A similar class, “Creative Dance for Kindergarten-First Graders,” (ages 5 and 6) will be offered from 10:15 to 11 a.m. The fee is $60.

          “Tap and Jazz” sessions for those ages 7 to 12 are set for 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The fee is $70.
