Graduate student who is enrolled within the Master of Science in Sustainable Systems degree program at SRU. Applicants must be approved for degree candidacy with a minimum QPA of 3.25 and demonstrate financial need. Student must have involvement in environmental programs and have a potential for success.

Pearl K. Stoner Scholarship

Criteria:
|
Awarded to a graduate student or prospective student pursuing the Master's of Science Degree in Sustainable Systems. First preference will be given to students from Somerset, PA and surrounding communities. The selected recipient may not accept a graduate assistantship during the semester they are awarded the scholarship. Incoming students will be selected base on their graduate school application material. Students are not required to submit a formal application for the scholarship.

| Criteria: |
Second semester freshman or sophomore, undergraduate with minimum 3.0 QPA at the time of application. First preference to students majoring in Geology, then to others majoring in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, or Geography. Preference to Pennsylvania residents. Students can apply in spring of freshman year. Must be committed to excellence and academic success. |
