OPEN HOUSE TO HIGHLIGHT PROGRAMS OFFERED FOR
CERTIFIED TEACHERS AT SLIPPERY ROCK UNIVERSITY’S NORTH HILLS
CENTER
SLIPPERY
ROCK, Pa. – A Principalship Certification Program for
teachers and severalother post-baccalaureate programs will
be the focus of an open house for the public from 4 to 6
p.m.March 20 at Slippery Rock University’s North Hills
Center, Route 910 in Wexford.
Classes
begin in the summer and can be completed in one year, entirely at
the North Hills Center.
Programs
include the environmental education certificate, reading specialist
certificate, educational supervision/special education and the
principalship certificate. Each program is for certified
teachers.
Administrators
will be on hand to discuss the programs. Programs are for
professionals, thoseseeking to advance their careers.
Classes are held in the evening, with the latest technology,
includingPowerPoint and computer labs available.
An
elementary education certification and masters in English
professional writing are ongoing atthe North Hills
Center.
