SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Slippery Rock University football defensive coordinator Jay Foster will supervise a pair of camps this summer designed to improve youth players' understanding and enjoyment of the game of football.

The Boys and Girls Football Camp will run from June 9-13 and is open to players between the ages of 8-12. The camp is a commuter camp and will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. each day on the SRU football practice field. Cost of the camp is $10 per camper. Deadline for registration is June 1.

The Defensive Back Skills Camp will be held from July 11-13 and is open to athletes entering grades 7-12. The camp will run three days and two nights and will also be held on the SRU football practice field. Two on-field practice sessions will be held daily with film sessions every evening. Cost of the camp is $175 per overnight camper and $150 per commuter camper.

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of application with the remainder of the fee due upon registration. A $20 discount per camper will be given to any football team sending five or more players to the camp.
