Project Gutenberg was one of the earliest attempts to put as many uncopywrighted texts on line as possible. Labyrinth is a large collection of the classics as is the Ancient and Medieval Sourcebook. Perseus is the most scholarly – a systematic collection of texts with cross references within the text as well as between the English and the classical Greek which can be read in Greek script or in English. There are Latin works as well plus architecture and ancient history. A wide range of texts is on the Online Medieval and Classical Library from Berkeley.
