EDITOR’S ADVISORY                             

A quick note to let you know that Slippery Rock University makes use of its on-campus residence halls over summer for summer camp programs ranging from sports camps (football, basketball, soccer, track, baseball, etc.) to special programs for volunteer firefighters, junior high and high school environmental teachers and a host of high school football and band camps. (A number of “New” programs are noted in the entries.)

Note to photographer: The camps provide opportunities for excellent feature photos. In most cases mid-morning will find most groups active (or just after lunch – in the 1:30 p.m. range). The opening day of a multi-day camp may not be as productive as other days as the campers are just getting acclimated. Those with questions should call 724-738-2199.
