| The Teaching Learning Technology Roundtable (TLTR) is committed to communication, cooperation, and collaboration among administrators, faculty, students, staff, and technical support personnel in promoting effective and cost efficient use of technology in teaching and learning. TLTR serves as a forum for the discussion of issues related to computer technology at the University and as a recommending body for the uses of appropriate computer technology in university departments and divisions. TLTR supports professional development through travel, speakers, and workshops that increase faculty, staff, and student development. TLTR facilitates setting goals and assessing successful practices and products. Through the generosity of the Provost, TLTR provides grant support for the exploration and integration of educational technology.
Only broad representative participation can ensure good communication.
TLTR is open to anyone interested in considering the uses and effects of technology in teaching. We invite you to attend our informative monthly meetings. You will meet interesting colleagues from across SRU's many departments and divisions. Choose or create a taskforce in order to explore issues and interests that you care about as we prepare students for meaningful lives and work. Taskforces within TLTR work on issues and projects such as student technology and information literacy, distance education, grant initiatives, and web page development.
