Cincinnati's Lauren Kinker Crowned 2003 Homecoming Queen at SRU
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Cincinnati’s Lauren Kinker recently became the first Ohioan crowned homecoming queen at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. A senior with dual majors in dance and exercise science, Kinker has a 3.8 grade-point average and aspires to career in healthcare.

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – As the nation gears up for the Great American Smokeout on Thursday [Nov. 20], Slippery Rock University has launched a major smoking cessation campaign that will continue for seven months. Components include stop-smoking kits, awareness events and an education shelter.

Two Winners Named in Chad Williamson Memorial Scholarship Competition
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Ashley Robin Moore, a mezzo-soprano senior majoring in voice from Bethel Park, and Jade Kondrasuk, a soprano senior majoring in music therapy from Ellwood City, who wrote and performed her own song, have been named co-recipients of Slippery Rock University’s Chad Williamson Memorial Scholarship Competition for 2003.
