EDITOR’S ADVISORY: 11-3-03

Just a quick reminder that Mick Foley, best known to wrestling fans as “Cactus Jack,” “Mankind” or “Dude Love”  and to avid readers for his New York Times Bestseller “Have a Nice Day,” will lecture at 8 p.m. Wednesday [Nov. 5] in Slippery Rock University’s University Union.

A media conference will be held at 5 p.m. in Room 117 of the University Union (prior to Mr. Foley’s dinner with students – and his lecture.)

Those interested in staffing the press conference or the lecture, sponsored by SRU’s University Program Board, are asked to call 724-738-2199. (We are expecting a large turnout, and arrangements may be necessary to insure admittance. 300 tickets are available for the general public at $3, with students, faculty and staff admitted free with ID.)
