A
quick reminder thatSenior Vice President and Director
of Research for the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland Dr. Mark
Sniderman will be the keynote speaker at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday [March
24] as Slippery Rock University’s College of Business,
Information and Social Sciences hosts its annual “School of
Business Week.”
Sniderman
is responsible for the Federal Reserve’s research department
and oversees production of research publications and directs the
bank’s economic and monetary policy analysis. In addition, he
has senior management responsibilities for the bank's corporate
communications and community affairs department. (A complete news

His
talk is open to the media and should contain predictions for the
near economic future of the region.

As
an added note: SRU’s School of Business will also offer four
workshops for business leaders and those considering opening a
business as part of the university’s “Community
Business Outreach Day.” The 45-minute sessions open at 10
a.m. at SRU’s Center for Lifelong and Community Learning in
downtown Slippery Rock. The sessions will offer tips on
fraud protection, using e-commerce, writing business plans and
provide ideas for financing small business operations, and are open
for media coverage.
