A quick reminder that Gov. Edward Rendell will be the 11 a.m. Saturday [May8] commencement speaker at Slippery Rock University. The ceremony will be held in N. Kerr Thompson Stadium. (Morrow Field House in the event of inclement weather.)

Media planning to staff the event are asked to call 724-738-2199 so that we can make proper arrangements for photographers/videographers to keep the ceremony uninterrupted.

The university will present some 840 doctoral, master’s and undergraduate diplomas at the ceremony.
