The Office of Campus Recreation is responsible for the operation of the facility, as well as providing programming within the facility.  The ARC is an 82,000 square-foot, state of the art recreation facility that includes an aquatic center, climbing wall, fitness center, four multi-purpose sport courts, multiple activities court, indoor track, multipurpose room, fitness mezzanine, locker rooms, vending and TV lounges.  The Russell Wright Fitness Center which contains cardiovascular, selectorized, plate loaded and free weight areas in addition to an assessment lab.

 The ARC is a controlled access facility.  Users must present their SRU/ARC ID each time they wish to access the ARC.  The programs and facility have been designed to promote positive physical, mental and spiritual health. Campus Recreation offers a variety of lifetime sports and fitness activities that provide exciting opportunities to "Rock'n Recreate."

Students and patrons are encouraged to express their opinions and suggestions for continuous improvement by submitting suggestion forms. Continuous Improvement forms are available at the Welcome Center desk.

ARC Academic Year Hours:
Mon-Thurs: 6am - 11pm
Fri: 6am - 9pm
Sat: 9am - 9pm
Sun: Noon - 9pm

Play is prohibited at the MAC (McFarland Recreational Sports Complex) when the RED FLAG is flying. The MAC will be closed from December 1-March 1.

When the University is on a 2 hour delay due to weather, the ARC will not open up until 10:00 a.m..
